I’ve combined three days of levelling here, because I was finished playing too late to write anything, and I wanted to finish this section of my blog. I’m not even sure where to start with this. Questing in Pandaria has been so much fun, that I didn’t care how long it took me to get to level 90. There was tons of quests, but beware! a lot of these quests are “talk to A here, talk to C, there, and talk to D somewhere else.” This left me with a full quest log, and I lost track of what path I should actually take. Each person you talk to will have lots of other quest givers in the area. I chose to quest in the Townlong Steppes region. Once you choose a path, the quests seem to lead you seamlessly through the beautiful Pandaria countryside. You find yourself discovering interesting little side quests and discovering new flight paths. I came across a quest in Kun-Lai Summit at the Kota Basecamp, where you get to ride a monkey, and kill Hozen. There is a series of quests to do before this rather fun ride, turns into a daily.
The Townlong Steppes region offers excellent XP, at 215K per quest turned in. With this kind of XP there isn’t much need to dungeon your way through to 90. I did however want to do some dungeons, so I got Shado-Pan Monastery and Mogu’shan Palace. These would have to do. I’m sure I’ll see the others at some other stage in the game.
I just quested my way to 90 for the most part, and before turning in my final quest I paused, and gave myself and Rigor a personal cheer before hitting the complete quest button and dinging 90.
